Get help this Christmas
Your kids shouldn't miss the magic, even for one year.
Maybe a bill came in sky high, a tire blew, someone is between jobs or got sick. You work, you don't qualify for assistance, and this year there's nothing left for extras.
That is exactly who we're here for.

Who can apply
Families in Wilson County, Old Hickory and Hermitage.
We go by need, so there's no income test. Tell us what happened this year and how many kids you have, newborn to 18. Every one of your kids is included, teenagers too.
Live just outside the area? Apply anyway and tell us where you are. We make the occasional exception.
Applications close December 15.
One application covers up to five kids. If you have more than five, fill out a second one.
Before you start
Four things that help us shop for your kids.
Every child's age, and their Santa letter.
The more specific you can be about what they asked Santa for, the closer we can get.
A few backup ideas.
Everything we give comes from donations, so name brand shoes, clothes and electronics are rare.
List them if that's the wish, and add a couple of other ideas next to them.
A few lines about your emergency.
Just what happened, in your own words. Plenty of us have been short at Christmas, and we understand.
Then watch for pick-up day.
We'll let you know when to collect the gifts. You take them home quietly and put them under the tree yourself, from Santa.
Straight answers
Exactly what to expect, before you apply.
What we do
- Toys and clothes, two or three gifts per child, depending on what gets donated.
- Something from every Santa letter, every time we possibly can.
- Stockings and stocking stuffers, in the years they get donated.
- Every one of your kids, teenagers included.
- A quiet pick-up, so the gifts come from Santa on Christmas morning.
What we can't do
- Money toward bills.
- Food baskets. We have nowhere to store food, and it's rarely donated.
- Hand the kids their gifts at a party. Santa delivers those.
- Bikes, game systems and brand new games are rarely donated. If that's the big wish, list it along with a few other ideas.
- Gifts for grown-ups, although mom sometimes finds a little something extra in the bag.
